No individual personal information (defined as credit card information or purchase history), will be shared with anybody, without your permission, and will only be used by Empiretickets.com. Some demographic information may be made available in aggregate form with reputable third parties. Any information you submit while registering for Empiretickets.com features or promotions is collected solely by Empiretickets.com. When registering for a co-branded feature or promotion, your information may be collected by both Empiretickets.com and the sponsor, or collected by one then shared with the other.
This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.
When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. While we use SSL encryption to protect the transfer of sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices and not stored on internet facing servers. On our online order form we request user contact information, including name, telephone number and email address, and user financial information, such as credit card number and expiration date. This information is used for billing purposes and to complete and confirm the user's order. By submitting such information the user gives affirmative and express consent for us to contact user at the telephone and/or facsimile number(s) and the email address provided for the purposes of confirming and finalizing user's order and notifying user of any trouble we have processing an order.
Cookies and Tracking
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. By registering on our site and providing your email address you give affirmative and express consent for us to send such welcoming email. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, special deals, and a newsletter. Site and Service Updates
We also send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone. User expressly and affirmatively consents to such email and phone contact from us in regards to such service and account matters.
By providing an email address to us in connection with ordering tickets online or registering as a member, you agree that we may send promotional emails to that email address until such time that you so indicate your preference not to receive them. At the time of registration, all users are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of receiving emails unrelated to a ticket purchase or request or a membership registration. Additionally, because many users wish to receive some, but not all, types of promotional materials, we allow users to select which types of promotional emails they would like to receive from us. Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking the "Opt-Out" link included at the bottom of each email or by replying to those emails with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. Either of these two methods will immediately remove you from these types of communications. You can also send an opt-out request to us at email@example.com with your first name, last name and the email address we have on file for you. This method is not automated and can take up to 10 days to complete the request. During that period you may still receive promotional emails.
Empire Tickets Spam Policy
Empire Tickets prohibits the sending of unsolicited mass emails or Spam, via e-mail, Usenet, IRC, Chat, or any other form. Any Empire Tickets entity using spamming techniques for soliciting referrals will be terminated immediately.
You agree not to hold Empire Tickets liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any dealings or as the result of the content provided by partners or advertisers through Empire Tickets or it's partners. By becoming a VIP member or a member of its partners and taking advantage of discounts and promotions directed to Empire Tickets VIP members by our advertisers or ourselves, You are authorizing the advertiser to share information with Empire Tickets or partners about the promotions (contests, events, etc.), products or services that you obtained from them. If you want to learn about a particular partner's or advertiser's privacy policies, or if you do not want to receive communications from a particular partner or advertiser, or you have other questions, instructions or concerns to which you would like a partner or advertiser to respond, then you must contact that partner or advertiser directly.
If you register for a contest or place an entry at an event (or similar) and you receive an email from Empire that is unexpected, then you are able to 'Opt-out' and you will never receive another unsolicited email that is associated with the information that you provided for that particular contest or event. All Empire originating email distributions (VIP Discounts, Newsletters, Partner Promotions, Contest Announcements, or similar business solicitations) will include an unsubscribe option.
What is SPAM?
SPAM is emailing ANYONE, in bulk or by single mailing, about Empire Tickets, who has not specifically requested the information directly from you. It also involves posting off topic at any newsgroup or chat. Any SPAM complaint regarding an Empire Tickets Entity, or Affiliate is cause for immediate termination. This is a very serious matter. DO NOT send email to anyone who has not made a specific request for Empire Tickets or its partner's information.
Sending bulk or single email to those who you are not acquainted with, and who have not opted-in to receive the information is considered SPAM. However, you may tell your friends, family, and business acquaintances that know you and are likely, or could reasonably be expecting your email.

FURTHER, EMPIRE TICKETS NOR ANY OF ITS PARTNERS, MEMBERS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, LICENSERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS OR EMPLOYEES SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH THE VIP MEMBERSHIP SERVICE OR RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF USER'S TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE, EVEN IF SUCH PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NEITHER EMPIRE TICKETS NOR ANY OF ITS PARTNERS, MEMBERS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, LICENSERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS OR EMPLOYEES SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO BREACH OF SECURITY, HACKERS, INDUSTRIAL SABOTAGE ETC.
MEMBER UNDERSTANDS AND EXPRESSLY AGREES THAT USE OF THE MEMBERSHIP SERVICES OF EMPIRE TICKETS IS AT USER'S SOLE RISK. IT IS THE VIP MEMBERS INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY TO COMPLY WITH THEIR LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS THAT MAY AFFECT THEIR MEMBERSHIP. THE MEMBERSHIP SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. EMPIRE TICKETS DISCLAIMS ALL GUARENTEES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
