Anaheim Ducks general manager Bob Murray didn't have a problem with his defenceman James Wisniewski being suspended, but he certainly came out swinging at Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville.

The Avalanche will play four of its next five games on the road as it attempts to creep closer to securing a Western Conference playoff spot after missing the postseason twice in the last three years.
Fatigue might have caught up to the club Wednesday, its second game in as many nights and third game in four days, as Colorado got off to a poor start in an eventual 3-2 home loss to the Calgary Flames.
Even so, with 12 games left in the regular season the Avalanche has 86 points, seven more than the ninth-place Flames as teams begin the final push to gain one of the eight available playoff positions.
"We have 12 games left and every game is huge," Avalanche forward Chris Durno said.

Rene Bourque scored two goals, Vesa Toskala made 32 saves and the Flames beat Colorado 3-2 on Wednesday night to keep pace in the Western Conference playoff race.

Colorado Avalanche defenseman Ryan Wilson has suffered a head injury against the Calgary Flames and will not return to the lineup. Wilson got into a fight with Flames forward Jamal Mayers with 3:23 left in the first period and drew a five-minute major. Wilson, a rookie, missed two games in January with a head injury but has played in 16 games since returning Jan.
