Eagles, Cowboys playing for 1st in NFC East
(Fri, 06 Nov 2009 21:05:45 PST)
They have played each other with both a Super Bowl and a playoff spot at stake. There was the "Bounty Bowl," Emmitt Smith getting stuffed, Eagles fans cheering for a motionless Michael Irvin, and Terrell Owens stoking controversy for each side. Dallas and Philadelphia have lined up against each other 99 times in games that have forged one of the most heated rivalries in the NFL.
Cowboys Team Report
(Fri, 06 Nov 2009 16:59:19 PST)
The Cowboys (5-2) are heading to Philadelphia (5-2) on a roll.
They are riding a three-game winning streak and are hitting on all cylinders on offense in what is a spread-the-wealth attack.
Unlike past years when the Cowboys relied on a superstar like Terrell Owens to make big plays, they are getting contributions across the board.
"It's a lot of guys making players, not just one or two guys and that's important," coach Wade Phillips said." We have a lot of good football players. We have some great football players. But we have a lot of good football players and you want to get them involved. That makes you consistent."
That also makes the Cowboys difficult to game-plan for and it makes them unpredictable.

Cowboys WR Williams repeating frustrating refrain
(Thu, 05 Nov 2009 15:37:41 PST)
While his lower-paid teammate breaks records, Cowboys receiver Roy Williams sounds like a broken record. The player who cost Dallas three draft picks and a $45 million contract extension has offered the same refrain for weeks now. He's frustrated. He can't get on the same page with Tony Romo, and doesn't know why.

Quite often, that's become a guy named Miles Austin.

Romo's steady side helps Cowboys surge in NFC East
(Mon, 02 Nov 2009 15:22:51 PST)
Tony Romo has gone from swashbuckling to steady. Dare we say "workman-type"? Dallas Cowboys coach Wade Phillips came up with that answering a question about his quarterback after Sunday's 38-17 victory against Seattle. Romo had just finished his career-best third straight game without an interception, which happens to coincide with a three-game winning streak that ties Dallas with...
