Kyle Orton was limping, and now, so are the rest of the Chicago Bears. Although the Bears apparently suffered no breaks or tears, a 37-3 loss at Green Bay on Sunday left them with one big bruise to the ego -- and left the NFC North race a muddled mess. "We know what's at stake, but you have to let this one hurt a couple days," center Olin Kreutz said Monday.

Bears coach Lovie Smith didn't have much good to say about Sunday's 37-3 loss to the Packers, but he was ready to put it in the past.

"It goes without saying that we weren't ready to play the football game this past week," Smith said. "(But) you have to move on, and that's what we've done. We have a six-game season starting up right now."

Smith's players didn't feel any better about their performance after watching the film Monday morning, but they, too, were anxious to look ahead.

"We saw a lot of them kicking our butts," six-time Pro Bowl center Olin Kreutz said. "We've got to get that corrected. We're really frustrated. We didn't do much (on offense) to help our team."

For the second straight week the offense was saddled with poor field position.

The end came appropriately for Kyle Orton. Facing fourth-and-10 midway through the fourth quarter, the Bears quarterback simply dropped the ball. Orton bobbled a clean shotgun snap, losing it to Packers defensive end Jason Hunter who scooped up the ball and ran untouched for a touchdown in Green Bay's 37-3 victory on Sunday.

Chicago Bears quarterback Kyle Orton practiced Friday for the first time since getting injured, but an appearance in Sunday's game at Soldier Field against the unbeaten Tennessee Titans appears unlikely. Orton, who sprained his right ankle last Sunday against the Detroit Lions, was doubtful on the official injury report after working out Friday only during individual passing drills.
