Suns Team Report
(Sun, 21 Mar 2010 00:40:36 PDT)
Amar'e Stoudemire keeps raising his game. And like a high tide, the Suns' hopes for a postseason run keep rising with it.
Stoudemire needed only 16 shots from the field to collect a season-high 44 points as the Suns won a big game they hard to have, beating Utah for the first time this season and moving within a game of the Jazz and the coveted fourth playoff spot in the stacked Western Conference.
Stoudemire now has five 30-point-plus efforts in his last seven games and two of them 40-plus. He's scored at least 19 in the last 22 straight, the longest such streak of his career. His string off 33 straight made free throws ended in the third quarter but he finished 16-for-18 from the line and was a model of efficiency in all phases.
"It's a beautiful thing for us to...

Sharpshooting Suns rout reeling Minnesota 152-114
(Tue, 16 Mar 2010 22:48:28 PDT)
It's an NBA law of physics: Put the highest-scoring team in the league against arguably the worst defense and watch the scoreboard light up like the Fourth of July. Jason Richardson scored 27 points and Amare Stoudemire 25, then sat with the rest of the Phoenix starters while the Suns' reserves finished off a 152-114 rout of Minnesota on Monday night in the highest-scoring game by an NBA...
