Hornets Team Report
(Sat, 21 Nov 2009 01:36:29 PST)
The Hornets are emphasizing movement more in their offense under new coach Jeff Bower than they did under former coach Byron Scott. It's an example of the team trying to become less predictable, according to forward David West.
"The biggest thing on offense is we're moving the ball," West said. "Everybody is sharing the basketball, and we're moving from side to side. That's one of the things Jeff has talked about. We don't want to try to beat the teams by always attacking one side of the floor. We're being more effective on the back side and making defenses shift, and then we attack."
The Hornets' offense was hitting on all cylinders during a 110-103 home victory over the Suns on Thursday night.
