    Minnesota Twins Information

Dozier will be the focal point of the offense after hitting a career-high 42 homers in 2016. Outfielder Miguel Sano improved his numbers in his first full season in the majors and will provide a nice complement to Dozier in the lineup. Big things are expected from center fielder Byron Buxton, who had 10 homers and 10 steals last year.

The pitching staff is a work in progress, with Ervin Santana trying to regroup from a seven-win 2016. Tyler Duffey took his lumps in his first full season, but there’s plenty of potential after striking out 114 in 133 innings. The good news for Minnesota is the bullpen is in good hands with Brandon Kintzler, who had 17 saves.
