    Tampa Bay Rays Information

The Rays are building out through their pitching staff, with Chris Archer looking for better things after losing 19 games last year. Jake Odorizzi is dependable as a No. 2 starter, and both Alex Cobb and Blake Snell have to turn potential into performance. The diamond in the rough is rookie Jose DeLeon, who has ace potential.

Longoria continues to be the face of the franchise as he enters his 10th season with the Rays. After hitting a career-high 36 last year, Longoria needs nine to reach 250. Brad Miller also hit 30 homers and should be more comfortable at his natural position at second base following the trade of Logan Forsythe to acquire DeLeon.
