Nats decline to offer pair arbitration

The National on Monday declined to offer salary arbitration to a pair of veterans, infielder Aaron Boone and left-hander Odalis Perez, becaue neither is considered a Type A or B free agent. The team may have an interest in one or both returning for 2009.
